When You Care In a proprietary method, cellulose, non-GMO, unbleached cotton, and metabolite, a natural mineral salt, are blended in three dimensions to create sponge cloths. The sponge fabric is particularly absorbent because the metabolite is removed during production, leaving the residual blend of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton to be extremely porous. It has a 20-fold water absorption capacity.
